To keep alive our tricolor savoir-faire is essentiel. For the second year in a row, we have decided to work with fabrics made in France. Our supplier are turned towards the futur while keeping their savoir-faire and exceptional archives.
OUR ECO RESPONSIBLE SWIMWEAR
For our ’21 swimwear collection, we wanted to keep going our way to create swimsuits respecting the environment. This is why we decided to work with fabrics from one of the biggest supplier of recycled swimwear fabric. They use ECONYL® thread to create recycled fabric each year.

“SOME SEE TRASH OTHERS SEE TREASURE”
For this collection, we choose an iridescent fabric, for a retro spirit with shapes remaining the 80s.
“ RECYCLED AND RECYCLABLE”
The ECONYL® thread comes from different types of waste: they get back the thread for used carpets, used fishnets found in the ocean, clothing that reached the end of life and the waste from used materials in factories (fabric scraps, end of bobin threads, etc). The ECONYL® thread is recycled and recyclable, which means that it’s ready to be reused infinitely in the industry to recreate new materials and fabrics.
At Icone, we line all our swimsuits for a better comfort, support and opacity. To go further in our engagement, we selected a lining fabric with 88% of recycled polyester.
Our long-term goal is to find new materials always more innovating for create new pieces, while respecting our environment.
